1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the MeraSignal app or visiting merasignal.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and discontinue use of the website.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

2. About MeraSignal

MeraSignal is a free, ad-free network intelligence app developed by Akshee Technologies. It provides crowd-sourced mobile network quality data across India to help consumers make informed decisions about their telecom operator.

MeraSignal has no commercial relationship with any telecom operator. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, BSNL or any other operator.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MeraSignal. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have parental consent.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use MeraSignal only for lawful purposes within India
• Provide accurate information when using the app
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app
• Not use automated scripts, bots or tools to generate fake speed test results
• Not attempt to access, probe or disrupt our backend infrastructure
• Not use the app to collect or transmit data about other people without their knowledge
• Not attempt to circumvent or disable the anonymisation of data

5. Data You Contribute

When you use MeraSignal, you contribute anonymised signal and speed test data to our crowd-sourced database. By using the app, you grant Akshee Technologies a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, process and display this anonymised data to:

• Operate and improve the MeraSignal service
• Display aggregate network quality statistics on merasignal.in and in the app
• Publish anonymised research reports about Indian telecom quality

This licence does not allow us to identify you personally or sell your individual data to third parties.

6. Accuracy of Network Data

All network quality data shown in MeraSignal is crowd-sourced from real devices and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any signal or speed data
• That data for any specific location is representative of current conditions
• That operator scores reflect the experience of any specific user

Network quality varies significantly based on location, time of day, device hardware, SIM configuration and many other factors. Use MeraSignal data as one input among many — not as the sole basis for switching operators or making purchasing decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

MeraSignal and Akshee Technologies are not liable for:

• Any decision made based on network quality data shown in the app or website
• Financial losses arising from changing your mobile operator or plan based on our data
• Service interruptions, data loss or errors in the app or website
• Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

8. Intellectual Property

The MeraSignal app, website, logo, name and all original content are the intellectual property of Akshee Technologies. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Operator names, logos and trademarks (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL) belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in MeraSignal is for informational purposes under fair use.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to MeraSignal for any user who violates these terms, attempts to abuse the service, or submits fraudulent data.

You may stop using MeraSignal at any time by uninstalling the app. You may also request deletion of all your data via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Data or by emailing [email protected].

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
